Deep blues and rich maroons dominate the composition, creating a sense of drama and depth. The dark, imposing masses in the foreground contrast sharply with the luminous coloring of the main mountain peak, which seems to glow with an almost ethereal quality. The blocks of color are indicative of Buff’s modernist style.
